Group Fitness - Looking to get in shape? This is the place where you can shed a few extra pounds or train for the Iron Man. The beauty of BASICS Group fitness is each work out can be scaled to meet each individuals ability or needs. Typically this class involves power lifting, Olympic lifting, core strengthening, and High Intensity Interval Training.
How to succeed in the BASICIS Group Fitness:
- Make a three month commitment to the program (success does not come overnight)
- Set realistic goals
- Eat quality food. This means fruits, vegetables, fish, lean meats (preferably grass fed/free-range), whole grains (minimally processed), and olive oil
- Looking for a leaner body, follow the Paleo Diet guidelines from Dr. Loren Cordain
- Keep a journal of your workouts, dietary habits, and sleep patterns
- Look at your workout the day before and make a game plan on how you are going to tackle the WOD (work out of the day)
- Schedule personal training sessions to improve your technique
- Ask questions before the WOD or post comments on the blog
- Give your best effort every time you step in the gym
- Remember, it hurts sooooooo good!

- Look at the current Group Fitness class schedule and see if the available times fit your availability
- Call and arrange for your On-Ramp Series.
- If you have a strong weight lifting background you can test out of the On-Ramp Series. Call and schedule for your test.
