Hello world, my name is Joel Hatch. Besides updating the BASICS Ogden site, I’m also the Director of Human Performance for BASICS Sports Medicine and currently pursuing a Master of Science degree from the University of Utah in Exercise Physiology. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Performance from Weber State University where I graduated as the Outstanding Human Performance Graduate for the year 2005. My certifications include:  Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the (NSCA), USAW Sports Performance Coach, Cross Fit Level One coach,  Level 1 Certified Coach by USA Track and Field, and certified Nike SPARQ Trainer.

My current athletic passion is trail and mountain running, backcountry snowboarding, and floundering on my skate skis. In my former life (or when I was younger), I played comp soccer and climbed mountains.

T/TH: Noon or 6 p.m.
